1. About F* ATS

F* ATS ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered resume optimisation tool operated at f-ats.app. The service uses artificial intelligence to help users rewrite and improve their resumes for specific job applications. F* ATS is not a recruitment agency, career consultant, employment service, or legal adviser.

2. No Guarantees — Please Read Carefully

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We make absolutely no guarantee, representation, or warranty that:

• Use of the service will result in interviews, job offers, or employment of any kind.
• Any employer, recruiter, or applicant tracking system will accept, favour, or even read your resume.
• The AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
• The keyword match scores or ATS compatibility estimates are accurate for any specific employer system.
• The service will improve your chances of being hired in any measurable way.
• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at any particular time.

All ATS match scores, keyword analyses, and compatibility estimates generated by the service are approximations based on general algorithms and should not be relied upon as definitive assessments.

3. Your Responsibility to Review All Content

THIS IS CRITICAL: You are solely and entirely responsible for reviewing, proofreading, verifying, and approving all content generated by the service before use.

By using the service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You will carefully proofread all AI-generated resume content, cover letters, and other outputs before sending them to any employer or third party.
• You will verify that all factual claims in any generated content are accurate and truthful representations of your experience, qualifications, and skills.
• You will not submit any AI-generated content to any employer without first reviewing it for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness.
• You are solely responsible for any consequences arising from inaccurate, misleading, or false information in any resume or document you submit to an employer.
• F* ATS does not verify, fact-check, or take responsibility for any claims made in user-submitted or AI-generated content.
• Any errors, omissions, misrepresentations, or inaccuracies in content you submit to employers are entirely your responsibility.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our service uses large language model AI technology (Google Gemini) to generate and rewrite content. You understand and agree that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, hallucinations, or inaccuracies.
• The AI may occasionally rephrase, reframe, or reinterpret your experience in ways that do not accurately reflect your actual background.
• It is your responsibility to ensure that all submitted content accurately and honestly represents your experience and qualifications.
• Submitting false or misleading information to employers is your sole responsibility and may have serious legal, professional, or reputational consequences for which F* ATS accepts no liability whatsoever.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, F* ATS, ITS OWNERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
• Loss of employment, loss of income, loss of opportunity, or damage to professional reputation.
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the service.
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content.
• Any decisions made by employers, recruiters, or third parties based on content generated by the service.
• Any consequences arising from your submission of AI-generated content to any employer or third party.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR €50, WHICHEVER IS LOWER.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Create intentionally false, misleading, or fraudulent resume content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity to employers.
• Submit entirely fabricated qualifications, employment history, or credentials to any employer.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are misusing the service.

7. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds

Pro is a one-time charge of $12.00 USD that grants 30 days of access (up to 5 runs per day), after which your account reverts to Free. There is no automatic renewal — you may purchase again at any time to extend access. All payments are processed by Stripe.

Pro access does not automatically renew. When your 30-day access period ends, your account returns to the Free plan with no further charge. You may purchase Pro again whenever you like.

Due to the nature of digital AI services where value is delivered immediately upon use, we do not offer refunds for completed AI generations. If you experience a technical fault preventing you from using the service, contact us within 7 days and we will assess your case.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the resume content you submit to the service. You grant F* ATS a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service.

The F* ATS platform, brand, design, and software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission.

9. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service or any part of it at any time with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the platform.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic.
